Development of ideal breeding and crop management strategies that can improve maize grain yield under tropical environments is crucial. In the temperate regions, such improvements were achieved through use genotypes are adapted to high plant population density stress. However, germplasm has poor tolerance stress, thus it should be improved by introgressing germplasm. The aim this study was estimate genetic gains identify traits associated with in stable yielding × hybrids low densities. A total 200 derived from a line tester mating design developed. These evaluated for allied varied High hybrids, as 15XH214, 15XH215 15XH121, resistant lodging had higher number leaves above cob. 26% desirable stress indices these made them better performers over check density.
